Privacy

Short version: we only use what you send us to help you and the dogs. We don’t sell it, and we don’t track you around the internet.

What we collect

When you fill out a form on this site (assistance requests, messages, volunteer sign-ups, the newsletter), we get what you type in. We use it to reply to you and to handle your request. Volunteers who need it to help you can see it. Nobody else.

Forms on other sites

Adoption, foster and owner surrender applications are on Shelterluv, the system we use to care for our dogs. Card donations go through Shelterluv’s checkout, and Venmo and PayPal donations go through those companies. Their privacy policies cover what you share with them.

Cookies and visit counts

This site doesn’t use cookies or advertising trackers. It may remember small things in your browser, like dismissing a pop-up, so it doesn’t show again.

To see which pages help dogs find homes, we count visits with LiveDash, a tool run by our web developer, 2K Web Developments. For each visit it keeps the page you looked at, the name of the site that sent you here (like facebook.com), your country, and if you’re on a phone or a computer. It also counts clicks on buttons like Apply to adopt and Donate, and when a form is sent, but never what you typed in it. It doesn’t store your IP address, doesn’t use cookies, and can’t tell who you are or follow you to other sites.

Photos and dog information

Dog profiles come from our Shelterluv account. Photos of people are only posted with permission. If you see a photo of yourself you’d like removed, email us and we’ll take it down.

Questions or removal

Want us to delete something you sent? Email info@adoptrescuefoster.org and we’ll take care of it.
